Accessibility Statement

Last updated: August 2026

Our approach

Price Richards Commercial and Residential aims to make this website usable for as many visitors as possible. This statement describes what has been checked, what still needs a formal review, and how to report a problem.

What has been checked

  • Works without a mouse. Every link, button, and form control is reachable by keyboard, and the focused element is always visibly outlined. There is a skip link to jump past the navigation.
  • Text alternatives on every image. Photographs and site plans carry descriptions written for this property or place, not filenames.
  • Readable when enlarged. Pages reflow without horizontal scrolling from 320 pixels wide upward, so enlarging text does not force scrolling in two directions.
  • Labelled forms. Every field has a visible label, errors are announced rather than only shown in colour, and nothing depends on placeholder text alone.
  • Respects reduced motion. If your system is set to reduce motion, the fade-in and image animations do not run.
  • Real headings and landmarks. One main heading per page and a correct heading order, so screen reader and reader-mode navigation works as expected.

Known limitations

  • No formal screen reader audit yet. The site has been checked with automated tools and by keyboard, but not yet tested end to end with NVDA, JAWS, or VoiceOver. That testing is planned.
  • Colour contrast not measured on every surface. Text over photography uses a darkening scrim and has been checked visually, but not every combination has been measured against a numeric ratio.
  • Third-party components. The inquiry form uses Google reCAPTCHA, whose accessibility we do not control. If it blocks you, call or email instead and we will take the inquiry that way.

Report an accessibility issue

Call (276) 780-5164 or email info@pricerichards.com. Please tell us which page you were using and what happened. We will work to provide the information another way if needed.

The site does not make a formal conformance claim because a full audit with assistive technology has not yet been completed. When that audit is complete, this statement will be updated with the standard and date.
